The past few weeks here have been super busy. I guess this is just my life these days with four kids on the go. Chris and I had a wonderful getaway to our friends place in Vero Beach! I had never been there before and it was simply beautiful. The weather was warm and the air smelled of all things spring! Flowers blooming their glorious colors and birds happily chirping.
Our friend Matt likes to fly private and I must say it is the way to go. So easy, no lines or hassles checking in. It is going to be hard going back to commercial. Ha!

This was the view from Matt's Condo. We sat out on the veranda each morning with our coffee. Heaven! It was so peaceful and quiet. It was so nice to have some alone time with Chris and relax. He did some golfing and I got pampered at the spa. I know the kids had a great time with my parents and Chris' parents.
Within 24 hours of being home, I kid you not, we woke up to this! My blood was thinned after being down south. I literally wanted to cry. Not these kids though, they were all smiles. Honestly I know why people winter down South. Chris and I are already planning where we will spend the time when he retires. We are so over the winters!
The good news is that this weekend was super warm and all this snow has melted. Yay! The kids spent all day outside yesterday in flip plops. Go figure. That's weather in New England for you. This week promises days close to seventy degrees. Pure delight! Nothing makes mamma more happy then warm weather. I think I may actually take my run outside for the first time since September. The joys of spring!
