A Christmas To Remember!

Leaving for Church and our Christmas Eve party at Auntie Amy's house.
Such excitement and fun is in the air.

Twas the night Before Christmas. . . .
Papa Fred's reading to the children, our yearly tradition.

Oh how they Love their Papa Fred!

Milk and Cookies for the big guy . . .

7:00 on the dot!  The kids know that this is the time they can come downstairs and see what Santa has brought!

Good times and memories made.  I love the Holidays!

The Griswald's . . . . .

. . . . . I mean the Raudelunas Family Christmas.  You know how it is.  All the best intentions, but ever the bit crazy in a loving family way.  We did find the perfect tree!  My one wish is that my children have the fondest memories of all the traditions we do around the holidays, even if this time of year gets hectic and super busy and even when things don't go as we planned.  Life is not perfect nor are we but we have each other, our health and faith!

Oh and these two are back.  Brynn and Elfie up to their elf antics and spreading Christmas cheer through our home!

Trot your Turkey's Off!

That's just what we did the day after Thanksgiving on a cold Friday morning.  My little Ry ran the one mile race with his Dad, while Finley and I ran the 5K.  So proud of all my boys!  Ryland won the one mile out of everyone, adults included.   That boy, so determined and competitive.  He started off so fast and I thought he would hit a wall for sure.  He showed me Ha!  He even showed Chris, who followed ever so slowly behind him.
Finley did great too.  This 5k I did not race with him.  He ran with his friend, Chuck, and they finished strong.  Since I started working, I have been trying to keep my running up, but it has been hard to always fit it in so I really didn't have any expectations as to my time for this race.  It was so cold and my legs felt so heavy I thought I was running slow but, I actually beat my time from last year by 2 seconds.  Not too bad, 22 minutes exactly!  First in my age group. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

So thankful for the all the blessings in my life.  Family, friends, health and the joy of being a mom to these little turkeys!  So much to be grateful for!

The aftermath of yesterday's snowstorm.  Thankful for such beauty and peace.  Also thankful that we only lost power for 12 hours and when we returned home from a wonderful thanksgiving feast at Nana Rose and Papa Joe's, we had a nice warm house to come home to!

Oh No! Here comes the Snow!

Right in time for Thanksgiving break!  Luckily we are not traveling far on Thanksgiving day. The snow has been falling all day.  Perfect day to decorate for Christmas and listen to Christmas carols.  That is exactly what I did all day!  Since I am not having Thanksgiving here, why not get started on the holiday decor.  How fun with the snow falling outside.  I do however, still have pumpkins and fall decorations outside ha!  Oh well, my inside feels like Christmas!  The kids could not have been happier!
