Easter Recap

The weeks leading up to Easter my kids have been talking non stop about getting a bunny.  Hannah was
especially smitten when we saw some at the pet store.  I remember growing up I always wanted a bunny on Easter.  Unfortunately my sister was allergic to everything under the sun so we never had a pet of any kind.  As a result, I am not much of a pet person and Chris never had a pet growing up either.  Having four kids to take care of (not to mention my husband Ha!), I have never thought of adding a pet to the mix. I have enough to do and then some.  I know my kids would loooove a dog, but I am just not ready.  However, I thought a bunny I could handle.
The Easter bunny must have been listening and come easter morning sure enough there was a bunny. The looks on the kids faces was priceless.  They decided to name him Ollie (which I love) and have just been loving on him ever since.  He is a good little bunny and does not make any noise.  Of course we will keep him indoors and just let him roam throughout the day when we are home.  He even has his own little seat that he goes to when he needs to do "potty" as my little ones say.  Can't ask for better than that.

After Church we headed to my parents for a delicious ham dinner.  My sister was there and the kids had a great time doing an egg hunt before we ate.
This picture just makes my laugh.  Ryland has a new smile he like to use in every picture these days.  Very natural!

There's that smile again!

We had just a wonderful day and I just know this is one of those Easters my children will talk about for a long time and tell their children about it someday and that thought just makes my heart melt!

Hippity Hoppity. . . Easter is on it's way!

The kids and I have had a lot of fun this week preparing for Easter.  Over the weekend Ryland's classmate had an Easter egg hunt at their farm.  The had over 400 eggs hidden for the children to find.  Some even in the horse stalls.  I took the two little ones while Hannah was at play practice and Hunter was out with Chris.  The Easter bunny was there and Ryland could not get enough of him.  He kept touching him and giving him hugs.  So sweet!
