JUNE

 June has been one of the busiest, jam packed and eventful months I can remember.  We have had so many transitions and special moments.

     Hunter finished up eighth grade with his band concert, awards night and graduation.  I cannot believe he will be moving on to the high school in the fall.  So proud of all his accomplishments in middle school.  He graduated with high honors and got the team math award for the highest average!
He has worked hard and I am excited to see what the next four years will bring in high school.

Finley had his fond farewell from fourth grade.  In the fall he will be starting middle school.  So hard to believe.  He had a wonderful year with Mrs. Godin.  He also had a great baseball season and even got to pitch a few of the games!

My little guy finished up first grade with one of our all time favorites, Mrs. Ireland.  My last one to get her and boy did he have an amazing year.  She will be greatly missed!  I don't know who was more upset, Ryland or myself. Ha!

Hunter at graduation with Mrs. McCormack.  She is a gem of a teacher.  Hunter enjoyed her talks and lessons.  We are so blessed in our town to be surrounded by such top notch teachers.

* Principal Porter Dodge

 My Hannah.  Heading to seventh grade in the fall.  My little girl, so grown up.  She worked so hard all year and it really showed.  She got straight A's the entire year and was awarded the language arts award.  She loves to write.  I was the same way when I was younger.  I hope she continues to love to write!

*Ryland had a great baseball season and is really getting quite knowledgeable about how the game is played.  He always impresses me with his "study" of the sport he plays.  He is very serious when it comes to his sports.
Speaking of sports, I ran another half marathon in Newburyport.  It was a very beautiful course to run even though the last half was in the rain.  It felt good due to the heat.  I really trained hard for this one and thought I was so prepared.  Somehow the last two miles almost did me in.  I really had to dig deep.  I think I started out too fast which is what I sometimes do.  I did, however do my personal best.  Even though it seemed harder, I had my best time by three minutes! Go figure!

It was so nice to be greated by these smiling faces at the finish line!!!!

* Chris and I celebrated a friends wedding in Boston.  Fun times!

So there you have it,  June in review.  So happy to be on summer vacation!  Planning on enjoying every moment! :)
