I just can't believe how quickly this month has gone by.  The last two weeks have been super busy.  We celebrated Ryland and Hannah's family birthday parties.  Then Hannah had her friends over last weekend for a Halloween/birthday party with her friends.  We decided to have her party a little early in order to have the Halloween theme.  Her actual birthday is Nov. 4th and we are going to the American Girl Doll store for that day.  Now Halloween is approaching.   How is this possible!  The kids had their parties yesterday and I volunteered in Finley's class for the party and parade.  How cute are those kindergardeners.  They are just full of spunk and energy.

These are some pics of Ryland getting his John Deere for his b-day.  For months all he talked about was wanting a John Deere.  The look on his face was so precious when he finally got it!
Hannah had a great time on her special day.  We did Halloween crafts, bobbed for apples and played games.
Finally Finley's party.  His teacher was an i-phone.  Too cute!
We are off to Football.  Our final game the "Spooky Bowl."

"Falling" For Fall

Fall is definitely one of my favorite times of the year.  So much excitement with back to school, apple and pumpkin picking, football, fairs, cool crisp air, sweaters and boots and of course fall decorating.  I love to decorate for all the holidays, but fall and halloween have become one of my favorites.  Over the years I have collected so many things that when I even look at more decorations husband rolls his eyes a bit.  However, I know he enjoys them just as much as I do.  My kids loooove it!

I tend to decorate every square inch I can find.  I just love Fall!

Happy Birthday Ryland!

Today is my baby's birthday.  My baby is three!  I just can't get over where the time goes.  I still can't believe I am the mom of four and now my baby is three.  How did that happen.

This is what I do know:
Ryland, you are just the sweetest little boy ever.  You are so caring and even tempered.  A wonderful listener and a great sleeper.  You can't go anywhere without your blankie.  You love to fish and play golf with daddy.  You like to tackle him and pretend you are playing football like Finley.
You love all foods and you like to play with your siblings as well as all the other kids in our neighborhood.  You are really into Curious George and all kinds of trucks.  Your favorite show is Caliou.  You love pre-school and are almost potty trained.

I am so proud to be your mommy and I always call you my baby not matter how big you are.  I love you!

This morning we had a little celebration before the kids went off to school.  You were so excited.  Can't wait until your John Deere party on Saturday!

Fall Weekend

We had a great fall weekend that kept us very busy.  The weather was just perfect, cool and crisp.  After dance and football practice on Saturday, we met my mom and dad at Parlee's farm for some apple and pumpkin picking.   This is the first year I did not have to lug a stroller around and boy did it feel good.

Ryland had a ball apple picking and he just loved the tractor ride.  He is into all things tractors and trucks.  Just can't get enough.
We got some great apples and I can't wait to make some apple crisp and roast some pumpkin seeds.
Sunday we had football very early.  Is was chilly but at least the sun was out.  Finley's Patriots won again!  Only two more games for a perfect season.  Keeping my fingers crossed.
Monday was labor day and the kids had no school.   Nana Rose come over to watch the kids while Chris and I went into Newburyport for the day for the fall festival.  Again the weather was so nice and we had a great time walking around and going to all the shops.  It was a fun and fast weekend for sure.

Catching Up!

I realize this weekend is more than half way over and I have yet to post about last weekend.  Chris and I had a night away at the Liberty Hotel in Boston.  My cousin Erin, who happens to be dating my husband's best friend Matt, was celebrating her birthday with a big bash.  This place was swanky!!  We had a blast.  We started with a small group at dinner followed by many friends at the night club.

The next day I stayed in Boston and saw the most amazing show, Wicked!   Soooo good.  Loved it!!
Thanks Mom and Dad for staying with the kids. We had a wonderful time.
My Dad took Finley to football on Sunday and his team won again.

Fast forward to this weekend I can't believe his team won again.  They are undefeated.  Today's game was close though.  Rockingham had a great team, but we came back to win with 26 sec. left.  How exciting.  We are also getting ready for Halloween at our house this weekend.  Decorating, getting costumes and planning parties.  I just love to decorate for the fall.  Here are a few pics of my stairs so far.  I am going to do a full post on all of my decorations.  I have so many from over the years!
