Welcoming March!

              Wow . . . January and February have come and gone.  I would like to say I'm sad about that, but I am not!  To recap, the months were pretty much identical, . . . . . cold, snow, freezing cold, blizzard, hit REPEAT.  Honestly, I hate to rush through life but Spring cannot come fast enough.
The kids don't seem to mind the arctic conditions as well as the many snow days we have had.  They LOVE to play in it!

  We did celebrate a BIG BIRTHDAY!  Hunter turned 13!  Help me . . . we have a teenager in the house.

The kids enjoyed watching the olympics, especially the skiing, snowboarding and bobsled.  They even played olympics on our street.  Thanks to the gigantic amount of snow that has fallen, we now have our own mini mountain.  Go team U.S.A!

During February vacation Finley and Ryland did a little skiing. This is Finn's second year and he is doing so great.  This day was Ryland's first time ever and he did so awesome. Not to mention he loved it! He is my natural little athlete so I was not surprised he took right to it.  It was such a fun day!

Ryland took his one hour lesson and he was hooked.  He skied the rest of the day on his own.  Loved it!

The Merriest!

 Christmas came and went with it's usual excitement and gusto, followed by the post christmas slumber and relaxation of christmas break.  We are winding down all the christmas time rituals and festivities.  Christmas this year, The Merriest!

Christmas Morning!

Matching Jammies!  A christmas tradition that began when I was a kid.  Love it!  I will make them do it until they are married.  Maybe even after that!
