SEVEN

Lucky Seven!  How in the world did my baby get to be seven.  October 14, 2014 at 3:33 a.m. to be exact.  These past seven years have been filled with your laughter and sports loving spirit.    You have been the perfect book end to our family.  I just wish time would slow down a bit and that you always fit on my lap.

Seven sweet things about my sweet boy:

1.  You love, love, love sports.  Especially football! (you are also very good at them)

2.  You still love your blue blanket you had since you were born.  (sleep with it every night)

3.  You love to try different foods. (one of your favorites is sushi)

4.  Your favorite color is blue!

5.  You love to play soccer in the front yard with anyone who will play with you!

6.  You are very competitive. (but you also have a soft side)

7.  You still love to kiss and hug me!  (even in front of your friends)

Halloween!

Halloween week was filled with pumpkin picking, carving, roasting seeds and dressing up!
First off, a visit to  Brookdale farm and our little friend, Mr. Scarecrow!
The kids commented this year how Mr. Scarecrow does not seem so big since they are growing so big themselves!

Carving time!  I love to bake the seeds!  So good!

Time to trick or treat!

I just adore Ryland's sock mockey costume.  Too cute for words.  I love that he picked something so cute as he is growing up much too fast!

Life Lately

Life lately has been filled with soccer, cheerleading games and competitions, practices, banquets . . . . . . . . repeat.  The next few weeks continue the cycle add in Halloween, parties, and school conferences.  I would not have it any other way.  I just love October and all the excitement!

So proud of Hannah and all the boys and girls from the Amherst Patriots who were recognized by the Little Scholars program.  These boys and girls no only work hard at cheer and football, but they also shine in the classroom.  They were given awards based on their academic achievement and g.p.a. of 96 or higher.  Impressive!

*  Finally went back to work after 13 years home and one month in resigned for a new position.  The timing was off, but the opportunity could not have been better.  I am now working at my children's school and could not be happier.  Such a whirlwind in a short time, but we are all adjusting and settling in nicely.
Sweet gift from Chris! :)

These boys are dominating the soccer field this season.  They are on different teams, but both were given the same number, one.  So proud of their efforts and sportsmanship!
